All Mitzi product ships free basic ground. At this time, Mitzi is only available to ship within the contiguous United States. If you would like to expedite your order with FedEx expedited shipping, please add this at point of check out. Pricing details will be outlined at point of check out. Please note: at this time we can only offer expedited shipping on in-stock items.

In-stock orders typically ship the next business day. During high volume periods and inclement weather, your order could be delayed additional days from our normal commitment period of 7-10 business days, but we are working as fast as we can to get your order to you. Orders placed after 3:00 PM Eastern Time will ship the next day. Orders placed on Friday after 3:00 PM Eastern Time will ship on Monday at the earliest. Some items may be sent in separate packages.

Our warehouse is closed and will not be shipping on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day.

Basic Freight Delivery Details:
  • shipping time is approximately 7-10 business days, when orders are placed Monday–Friday, during daytime hours.
  • additional charges may apply to special warehouse and residential circumstances, including remote locations not readily accessible.
  • items shipped via Basic Freight Delivery are boxed and arrive at your door.

We reserve the right to select the carrier on all shipments unless special arrangements are made prior to shipment. Additional fees may apply for incorrect shipping information received. Please note that oversized items can be subject to FedEx dimensional weights.

We are not able to ship to PO Boxes.

At Mitzi, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied.

We will accept returns and exchanges of items that have not been installed and are in their original packaging if (i) the item is returned within 30 days of customer receipt, (ii) a valid proof of purchase is provided, and (iii) items are returned in good condition (unused and uninstalled). We may require pictures of items prior to refund on a case by case basis. Please click here to begin your return.

If you discover an item has a manufacturer’s defect or was damaged during transit, we will accept the item for return or exchange with proof of purchase. We may require pictures of items prior to refund on a case by case basis. Mitzi is responsible for return shipping and return pickup fees if the item is deemed defective.

Return Fees:

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Standard delivery packages can be returned with a complimentary return label that is generated when you begin your return process online.

Return shipping and return pickup fees are the customer’s responsibility and are nonrefundable for customer remorse for items that are oversized and truck shipping only. A $149 charge will be deducted from your return credit for oversized item freight returns only. Please contact Customer Service at hello@mitzi.com to schedule an oversized freight return.

We are unable to accept any items for return or exchange without proof of purchase. Items purchased as final sale, discontinued and special made-to-order cannot be returned, exchanged or repaired. Light Bulb purchases are final sale. Items must be returned using our Mitzi online portal only. Items cannot be returned at Mitzi showrooms or other partners including any Hudson Valley Lighting, Troy Lighting or Corbett Lighting physical locations.

Proof of Purchase for Eligible Items:

Proof of purchase is required to issue an appropriate exchange, credit or refund for eligible items, as well as any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. For your convenience, we will accept the following as proof of your purchase:

  • eReceipt
  • Original Packing Slip
  • Order Number
Credits and Refunds:

We will issue an appropriate credit or refund with an eReceipt, Original Packing Slip or Order Number. The item’s purchase price will be refunded in the original form of tender.

You can use our online returns portal to return items that you ordered online or by phone and received by mail.

  • Once we receive your return, your refund will post to your credit or debit card account within 7 to 10 business days.
  • Sign into online returns with your order number and billing ZIP code;
  • Select eligible items to return and tell us why you're returning them;
  • Print out a UPS shipping label;
  • Pack up your item(s);
  • Drop off at any UPS store;
  • Track your return easily online;

Returns will only be accepted if the return is completed within 30 days of customer receipt.

All items will be inspected upon return. A restocking fee may apply, starting at 25% of the purchase price, for any items not returned in good condition or outside the stated time frame.

Please contact Customer Service at hello@mitzi.com to start an oversized freight return. Items that need to be returned by truck will have to be scheduled with our Customer Service team. Fees may be incurred.

Please be aware that, in the event of an error or malfunction with the Mitzi website, payment or checkout process that results in an error in the pricing of any product(s), Mitzi reserves the right to cancel any related purchases, orders or preorders that may have been affected as a result. Any payment made by a customer pursuant to such event shall be refunded in full by Mitzi. Orders eligible for cancellation will be refunded in the original form of tender.

Nonrefundable Fees:

Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

Return shipping and return pickup fees are the customer’s responsibility and are nonrefundable for customer remorse for items that are oversized and freight items only.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. All orders are subject to price in effect at the time the order is placed. All pricing does not include shipping, taxes, or installation. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Mitzi reserves the right to make any engineering changes to our product without prior notice. This may result in some minor design changes.

You can cancel an order within a 24 hour window of order placement so long as the order has not yet been shipped. If your order has already shipped (even if within the 24 hour window), it cannot be canceled, and will be treated as a return. To request an order cancellation, please contact our team by emailing us at hello@mitzi.com. Please be sure to include your name, address, Mitzi order number, items to be cancelled, and the reason for your cancellation. You will receive an email detailing if the cancellation request was successful. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your cancellation confirmation.

Please be aware that if your order is already en route from its original location, it cannot be rerouted, redirected, or cancelled. Should you wish to return the item, please refer to the section above titled Returns.

We understand that sometimes products have a manufacturer’s defect. All items are offered with a one-year warranty. Please refer to our warranty policy. Any qualifying defective item purchased from Mitzi that is returned within one year of purchase will be repaired or replaced at the company's discretion. Repairs for items that are still under warranty will be covered at no charge. If you would like to report a defective item please contact us at hello@mitzi.com. Once your claim request has been received a Customer Service Specialist will reach out to you within 72 hours.

We understand that items can be damaged during the shipping process. We also understand that from time-to-time, something may arrive missing parts or components. Our damaged goods/missing parts policy and process is designed to deliver to you a resolution in the timeliest manner possible, at no expense to you. All damages must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Mitzi cannot be held responsible for any missing, or damaged goods if we are not notified within this time period.

If you find a damaged item in your Mitzi shipment when you unpack your item, and you suspect your Mitzi order was damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately through our customer service link here. Please provide your order number in your email for reference. Please retain all packaging materials and send photographs of each side of the carton in which the Products were shipped, including the shipping label, and provide these images to our Customer Service Team. If notice is not given within the 72 hour time frame, Mitzi reserves the right to reject any return or refund of the products under such circumstances.

Mitzi collects sales tax in the following states: California, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, and Texas.

You can buy replacement lightbulbs in the bulb section on our website. For any other replacement parts such as glass, cord sets, and ceiling canopies, please refer to our warranty policy below.

We are happy to provide metal samples for your reference. Please see the link here to place an order for our sample set of metal finishes or individual metal swatches.

Our fixtures can be controlled by a wall dimming device. Only use TRIAC/electronic dimmers with our fixtures. Make sure the carton is marked for use with LED compact fluorescent-incandescent light sources only. These can be provided by your local electrical distributor, home center, or hardware store.

Our fixtures are for indoor use only. Please do not exceed maximum specified wattage as provided by Mitzi in our fixtures. To clean your Mitzi fixtures, please wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid the use of chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage the finish.

Mitzi products, when properly installed and subjected to normal conditions of use, are warranted to our customers to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of shipment.

All warranty claims must be asserted within one year from the date of shipment of the subject items. Customer’s sole remedy for a warranty claim or otherwise shall be limited to repair or replacement of the subject product if it is shown to have been defective in material or workmanship at the time of shipment. Mitzi’s sole and maximum liability for a defective product shall never exceed the cost of the subject product. Except for such warranty and exclusive remedy as stated (and the express warranty of title), we disclaim all other warranties, whether express or implied and specifically disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

In no event shall we be liable to the customer in warranty, contract negligence, strict liability or otherwise, for any damages, whether incidental or consequential, which are alleged to be caused by one or more of our products, beyond the cost to the customer of a subject product or products. Therefore, the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy against us for breach of warranty, breach of contract or in negligence or in strict liability or otherwise shall be limited to repair or replacement of the subject product at our option (excluding installation and removal charges which shall not be our liability) or, if we choose, refund of the purchase price.

No agent, employee, or representative of Hudson Valley Lighting Group (including Mitzi and any agent, employee, or representative of Mitzi) has any authority to hold Hudson Valley Lighting Group to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning goods sold by Hudson Valley Lighting Group and, unless an affirmation, representation or warranty made by an agent, employee or representative is specifically included herein, or in Hudson Valley Lighting Group's acknowledgment or a buyer’s purchase order, or in standard printed materials provided by Hudson Valley Lighting Group, it does not form a part of the basis of any deal between Hudson Valley Lighting Group and a buyer and will not in any way be enforceable by such buyer. In no case does our warranty and exclusive remedy extends to anyone other than our customers.

Our customers are not authorized to extend warranties or remedies on our behalf to anyone. Such unauthorized extensions of warranties or remedies by any such customer shall remain the customer’s responsibility. Customer is responsible for determining the suitability of our products for customer’s use or resale, or for incorporating them into objects or for applications which the customer designs, assembles, constructs or manufactures.
